Lois Morris – Kennels & Cattery Director

Lois has been with Coriecollies for over 9 years. As an owner of a St Bernard and a cat Lois enjoys helping out with both the cats and dogs and gives them all love and affection!

Betty Phillips – Administration Support

Betty has been with Janet for over 20 years in one capacity or another and has been a very loyal servant. Now working part time in the office answering the phone and making sure all paperwork is being kept up to date and procedures followed. She keeps Coriecollies ticking ensuring all guests are checked in and out at the appropriate times.

Sophie Kelly – Senior Kennel & Cattery Assistant

Sophie is currently studying for an Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Plumpton College. Sophie hopes to start a career in kennels and has ambitions to one day own her own kennels!! Sophie originally came to Coriecollies via the work placement scheme we operate.

Jade Legg – Kennel & Cattery Assistant

Jade is currently studying for an Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Plumpton College. Jade is considering veterinary nursing and grooming as potential future careers options. Jade originally came to Coriecollies via the work placement scheme we operate.

Peta Golding – Kennel Assistant & Dog Groomer

After starting voluntarily in June 2012 L was quickly offered a position at Coriecollies. Peta has had a love of animals since the age of 7 and is studying animal management at Plumpton College and has studied dog grooming to expand her experience. Her dream is to run her own kennel or rescue place in the future.

Peta has two dogs of her own, a border collie and Belgium shepherd cross as well as one cat.

Verity Mockford – Kennel Assistant & Dog Groomer

Verity has achieved a triple grade merit in the extended diploma in animal management at Plumpton College as well as a grooming certificate from the college as well. Verity adores dogs and enjoys working with all breeds. Verity hopes to set up her own dog grooming business in the future.

Elizabeth Powley

Elizabeth is currently in her second year studying for a degree BSc in Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare. Elizabeth ultimately wants to work with both dogs and horses applying both the theoretical and hands on skills to their mental and physical well being. She is also the proud owner of Jett a Labrador collie cross.

Victoria Wise

I have had the opportunity and been working at Coriecollies since spring 2013. After 5 years of working with animals i am now pursuing a career as a vet, i have always loved cats and dogs and have two German Shepherds of my own , who go everywhere with me, they both do agility training and obedience training and one now is a therapy support dog.

Voluntary : staff considered subject to police checks, and c.v.
students studing animal care etc. - Vet students.
